Charlie Stoia Elected as Board President of New Jersey State Bar Foundation

6/26/2023

On June 18th, Porzio, Bromberg & Newman Principal Charlie Stoia was sworn-in as the Board President of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF). He will serve a 2-year term effective June 2023.

Charlie’s election is the culmination of over two decades of work with the Foundation. He has moved up the ranks at the NJSBF, starting as a chair on the Scholarship Committee, then serving as Secretary, and now being sworn-in as the President. This record of service must also take into account Charlie’s distinguished work in his 35 year career at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman. Charlie represents litigants in commercial, insurance and environmental matters in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York. He has earned a reputation as a hard-nosed litigator and has achieved success for clients handling commercial litigation matters while utilizing creative fee structures. This combination of legal success and a commitment to community service makes Charlie ideal for this new role.

Charlie was featured in an interview with the NJSBA to announce his ascending to President, which you can read here.
