Morristown law firm, Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, announces the launch of the firm's first blog, http://porzioappeallaw.pbnlaw.com. The Appellate Law blog informs followers of New Jersey Supreme Court, New Jersey Appellate Division, and Third Circuit cases. This blog summarizes and educates, in an easy-to-read format, appellate decisions, opinions and issues on a regular basis.
The firm’s first blogger is Brian P. Sharkey, a counsel to the firm and also Director of Compliance and Legal Affairs for Porzio’s lobbying subsidiary, Porzio Governmental Affairs. When asked why blog about appellate law, Brian’s response is, “Why not? It covers all areas of the law and has a significant impact on attorneys, litigants and the public as a whole. I hope that readers of the blog, even those who do not think they have an interest in appellate law, will come to share my enthusiasm for this topic.” Brian has been reporting through Twitter on recent appellate decisions and, in less than three months, has nearly 750 followers. “A blog is the natural next step,” he says.
Members of the firm’s Real Estate team are planning to begin blogging within the next couple of months.
