Centering Viewpoints

“Our women attorneys and managers meet on a monthly basis through our Women's Initiative Network, which we established during the summer of 2007. One goal is to provide opportunities for informal networking and mentorship to further the retention and advancement of women at the law firm. Our hope is that WIN contributes to a culture at Porzio in which our women attorneys and managers are genuinely supported in their efforts to succeed.”
LINDA PISSOTT REIG
PRINCIPAL AND CHAIR OF PORZIO’S WOMEN’S INITIATIVES NETWORK

Our Workplace Diversity Committee provides support for internal affinity groups. The Committee fully endorses Porzio’s first formal affinity group: Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN). Chaired by a firm principal and led by a Steering Committee, WIN provides women attorneys and managers with monthly opportunities for networking, professional development and training. Meetings feature internal and external speakers on a variety of topics ranging from managing a career and a family, dealing with the “old boys network” and “Mistmaking or Rainmaking HER Way” to “Political Capital: What is it and how to spend it.”

Firm members are encouraged to join external affinity groups and business networks. Our people belong to such organizations as:
