David L. Disler is a litigator who partners with private and public entity clients to advise on a variety of employment and education law subjects, including compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations, employment-related matters, tenure issues, grievances, construction concerns, healthcare and benefits, and, labor relations.
David investigates and counsels on allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breaches of the collective negotiations agreement. In addition, he is able to simplify matters for his clients by preparing a wide array of agreements, such as settlement agreements, shared service agreements, leases, collective negotiations agreements, and vendor contracts.
David is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and has authored numerous articles for a variety of publications, including the New Jersey Law Journal, New Jersey Lawyer, the American Bar Association's TIPS Employment and Labor Law Committee Newsletter, and the New Jersey Police Chief Magazine.
David presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Association of School Attorneys, as a Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District Ethics Committee (District XA), on the Board of Directors for the Lehigh Lawyers Association, on the Board of Trustees for the Roseland Glen Condominium Association, and as the Morris County co-coordinator for the Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition.
David earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Lehigh University.
