Porzio Condemns the Acts of Hate and Violence Against the Asian American Community

Porzio condemns the increasing and horrific acts of hate and violence against the Asian American community.   We stand with our Asian American colleagues, the broader Asian community, and concerned citizens against all forms of racism and discrimination.  In his statement to the firm on Monday morning, Porzio’s Managing Principal Vito A. Gagliardi, Jr. advised:

“Make no mistake, while we condemn these acts of hate, condemnation is not enough.  Mere ‘racial tolerance’ is not enough.  We need to encourage peace, love, and understanding in our country if we are going to get through these challenges.   People who do not look like you, or think like you, or vote like you, are not your enemies.   We don’t need to agree on much to have a better society, but we must agree that everyone is entitled to respect.”
